Cole Davis, Piedmont

Position: Catcher

Class: Junior

The story: Proved his worth with his hitting statistics but took it to another level with his effectiveness behind the plate. Threw out 57 percent of base runners and had 12 home runs and 52 RBIs.

Evan Anderson, Dale

Position: First baseman

Class: Sophomore

The story: Had a season in one day with three home runs in state quarterfinals. Finished with 20 home runs and 50 RBIs. Also effective on the mound with a 9-1 record and 59 strikeouts.

Hunter Marcum, Purcell

Position: Second baseman

Class: Senior

The story: A four-year starter for the Dragons, also one of the most athletic second basemen in state. Hit .468 with 21 RBIs and has signed with Central Oklahoma.

Landon Coon, Dale

Position: Third baseman

Class: Junior

The story: Three years, six state tournaments for Coon. Led team with .461 average and also had 12 home runs with 50 RBIs in helping Pirates reach state championship game.

Bryant Hodge, Christian Heritage

Position: Shortstop

Class: Sophomore

The story: Set team single-season strikeout and wins record with 169 strikeouts and a 10-3 record with a 1.49 ERA. Averaged more than two Ks per inning and also hit .495 with 37 RBIs.
