Janari Glover, Millwood

Event: 100 meters

Class: Senior

The story: Glover repeated as a state champion in the 100 meters, winning with a time of 10.61 and setting the 2A state meet record in the process.

Travis Cotton, Perkins-Tryon

Event: 200 meters

Class: Senior

The story: The Demon speedster took third at state in the 200 at 22.18.

Domonique James, Heritage hall

Event: 400 meters

Class: Senior

The story: The Oral Roberts signee broke the 50-second barrier with a runner-up time of 49.82 at state.

Anthonio Humphrey, Douglass

Event: 800 meters

Class: Senior

The story: Injuries kept him out much of the season, but the Kansas signee still managed a gold medal at state with a winning time of 1:54.70.

Aaron Brinegar, Bethany

Event: 1,600 meters

Class: Junior

The story: Part of Bethany’s 1,600-meter relay team which also medaled, Brinegar was third individually in the 1,600 at 4:31.30.
