Oklahomans seeking inauguration tickets
WASHINGTON — Hundreds of Oklahomans have called congressional offices since Tuesday’s election to secure tickets for President-elect Barack Obama ’s inauguration Jan. 20.
Though Oklahoma was the reddest state, the Illinois Democrat still had more than a half-million Sooners in support, and some are already making plans to make the trip to D.C. for another historic event involving Obama.
