Oklahoma's forecast to be soggy through weekend

A series of weather disturbances and remnants of Hurricane Ike could make Oklahoma 's forecast for the next several days a soggy one.

A broad area of moderate rain with some heavy rain should affect most of western and northern Oklahoma today and tonight. Gradual accumulations exceeding 2 inches may start flooding swollen creeks and streams and poorly-drained areas, according to the National Weather Service .
