Oklahoma's Meet the Sooners Day set for Aug. 3

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma football fans will have a chance to meet the Sooners on Aug. 3.

The annual Meet the Sooners Day event will be held at the Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. The free event kicks off preseason practice and gives OU fans an opportunity to interact with their favorite players and coaches.

The event is limited to children 14 and younger, and each child is limited to just one item to be autographed. Each child may be accompanied by an adult, but adults will not be permitted to submit items for autographs.

The Sooner Jr. Kids Club autograph session will begin 30 minutes prior to the general public. The Kids Club session begins at 10 a.m., while others will be admitted at 10:30. The session ends at noon.
