Okmulgee business owner shoots potential burglar

OKMULGEE — The owner of an auto salvage yard shot one of six people he believed to be burglarizing his business Saturday.

Okmulgee County sheriff's deputies said the owner of A&A Auto Salvage, in the 21000 block of South 236 Road between Okmulgee and Schulter, interrupted six people he said were trying to break into his business about 2 p.m. Saturday.
