Cue the dirt — and lots of it.

A street in Guthrie has undergone a reverse facelift as workers turn the city into a Hollywood-style version of the hometown of a young female pilot.

BACKGROUND

Pearl Carter Scott

Scott, a young Chickasaw woman, was befriended by Wiley Post in the 1920s. She became the youngest female to become a licensed pilot at 14. In the movie, Scott is played by Elijah De Jesus, 13, who appeared in a May episode of "Ugly Betty.”
