UPDATE: U.S. 412 traffic being detoured around fatal Major County crash
10 a.m.: Traffic is being detoured around the fatal crash scene to U.S. 60 through Chester and Fairview.
9 a.m.: The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a fatal crash on U.S. 412 in Major County .
The accident occurred about 8:40 a.m. about 12 miles west of Orienta, the patrol reports.
The roadway is blocked. OHP will advise when it is open to traffic.
