One dead in turnpike accident
ANTLERS — A motorcyclist died after being hit by a tractor-trailer Friday.
Cameron Lawrence , 47, of Sulphur Springs , Texas , was driving a motorcycle northbound on the Indian Nation Turnpike near the Antlers toll booth when he was struck from behind about 1:30 p.m., the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
He was driven into the back of a sport utility vehicle that had stopped to pay a toll, the patrol said....
