One killed, one injured in northwest Oklahoma City stabbings

Two people have reportedly been stabbed in northwest Oklahoma City. Police have arrested a male in connection with the stabbings, a police spokesman said.

Two people were stabbed Sunday evening in northwest Oklahoma City, resulting in a one death, the Oklahoma City police reported.

Officers were called shortly after 7 p.m. to a disturbance at the 100 block of NW 27. A male is accused of walking up to a vehicle with a female driver and a male passenger and stabbing the driver. The male passenger got out of the vehicle and approached the assailant, who then stabbed the passenger, a police spokesman said.

An off-duty officer saw this and approached the assailant. The assailant dropped the knife and was arrested.

The female driver drove to the 200 block of NW 23 and was taken to a hospital where she died, the spokesman said. The male passenger’s condition is not known.

No names were released Sunday night.
