One man arrested after shooting Friday in Midwest City

Midwest City police responded to a reported shooting at about 10:30 p.m. Friday at a trailer park near SE 29 and S Douglas Boulevard. Two men were arguing when one shot the other, said Lt. Ruben Ozuna, a spokesman for the Midwest City police department. Neither man’s name was released.

MIDWEST CITY — One man was arrested and another other was hospitalized after a shooting Friday night, police said.

Midwest City police responded to a reported shooting at about 10:30 p.m. Friday at a trailer park near SE 29 and S Douglas Boulevard. Two men were arguing when one shot the other, said Lt. Ruben Ozuna, a spokesman for the Midwest City police department. Neither man’s name was released.

Police arrested the gunman, Ozuna said. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. His injuries were not life threatening, Ozuna said.
