One pedestrian killed on Interstate 44, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports

Troopers were notified of two men running across Interstate 44 near Pennsylvania Avenue Thursday evening. One was hit by a vehicle before troopers arrived on the scene, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

One man was hit and killed while trying to cross Interstate 44 near Pennsylvania Avenue Thursday evening, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

The patrol received a report of two men running across the interstate in the westbound lanes, trooper Betsy Randolph said.

One man was hit by a vehicle before troopers arrived on the scene, she said. He later died.

The names of those involved were not released at this time.
