TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Former Oral Roberts women's basketball player Dominique Allen has been selected to play for Great Britain in this summer's Olympics.
The team was announced Friday.
Allen averaged 3.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in her career at ORU, which concluded last season. The 6-foot-2 center will become the first Golden Eagles player to compete in the Olympics.
Another former Oral Roberts player, Georgia Jones, was in training camp for Great Britain but did not make the team.
Great Britain's opener at the Olympics is scheduled for July 28 against Australia.
