CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) — Ruth Hamblin scored 18 points — on 8-of-10 shooting — grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked six shots as Oregon State beat UCLA 70-54 Friday night.

Sydney Wiese hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a 10-0 Oregon State run, giving the Beavers a 12-4 lead. OSU (16-9, 8-5 Pac-12), which made 25 of 48 (52.1 percent) field goals and out-rebounded the Bruins 41-28, wouldn't trail again.

UCLA (11-14, 5-8) shot just 35.4 percent and went 0 for 8 from 3-point range.

Hamblin, a sophomore, moved into seventh place on the school's career blocks list with 121. Her 89 blocked shots this season — with five regular-season games remaining — leaves her three shy of second place on the OSU single-season list.

Wiese made 4 of 5 3-pointers, finishing with 14 points, and now has 73 for the season, two short of the Beavers single-season record.

Atonye Nyingifa led UCLA with 22 points.
