No one will know the details of the heroism that saved the life of Hannah Luce until she herself is able to tell the story.

Luce, 22, is the sole survivor of a Friday afternoon plane crash in rural Kansas that killed four people with ties to Oral Roberts University.

"Hannah has not been able to talk very much about the accident," said her father, Ron Luce, speaking by phone Sunday afternoon from the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan., where Hannah is in serious condition with burns over 28 percent of her body.

Luce said it is likely that Hannah was pulled from the burning wreckage of the eight-seat Cessna 401 by Austin Anderson, 27, a recent ORU graduate who served two tours in Iraq with the Marines.
