WATTS — A man accused of killing his father-in-law might be in Missouri, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation reported.
An arrest warrant has been issued for James Douglas Manken, 40. Manken was last seen Monday in Gentry, Ark., and agents think he could be going to the Southwest City, Mo., area, OSBI reported.
Manken is accused of killing 71-year-old Wayne Lee Wennerholm inside his Watts home on N 4735 Road. Wennerholm was found dead inside his home July 13 by a neighbor, OSBI reported.
Wennerholm’s daugther and Manken’s wife, Janice Manken, 26, was arrested Monday on an accessory to murder complaint. She was booked into the Adair County jail and is being held without bail, a jail official said Tuesday.
Anyone with information about James Manken’s whereabouts is asked to call the OSBI hotline at (800) 522-8017.
