TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says its agents are looking into allegations of embezzlement at the Tahlequah Chamber of Commerce.
The OSBI said Tuesday that agents are investigating money the chamber has collected, who had access to the funds and how the money was spent. The amount of money involved was not released.
Tahlequah Chamber of Commerce officials did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment.
The OSBI said its investigation will be presented to the district attorney to determine whether charges will be filed.
