WESTVILLE — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is examining the death of a 30-year-old woman in Adair County.

Authorities say the Westville Police Department responded to a call Monday morning about the death of a woman at an apartment complex. Once there, officers discovered April Meridith dead inside her apartment.

OSBI says its agents are assisting Westville police in the investigation. The medical examiner’s office will determine Meridith’s cause and manner of death, and OSBI says the case will be investigated as a homicide until more information is available.
