DAN BAILEY: A-
Sure, the Cowboy kicker missed an extra point. Considering all the extra duties he assumed with Quinn Sharp's absence, we'll let it slide, especially since he performed so well. He had a 39.0 yard punting average and a couple kickoffs into the end zone. He also hit three field goals of 40 yards or longer.
DESEAN JACKSON IMPERSONATION: B
Justin Blackmon made like the Eagles receiver on his first touchdown catch, running along the goal line before scoring. Only trouble — the Cowboys weren't trying to run out any clock. It was an uncharacteristic bit of showboating by the OSU receiver. But you know what? He wasn't throwing anything in anyone's face. I'm all for letting these guys have some fun every now and again.
OSU FANS: A
I see orange people. Cowboy fans dominated play inside the Alamo Dome. An estimated two-thirds of the 57,593 folks in attendance were cheering for OSU, and they were cheering loud. They are one of the reasons that OSU should continue to be attractive to bowl committees in coming years.
MARKELLE MARTIN: B-
The OSU safety had a roller-coaster day. His interception return for a touchdown was a highlight, but he drew a pair of costly flags, a leading-with-the-helmet personal foul and a horsecollar-tackle penalty. The roller coaster hit a high at the end when Martin was named defensive MVP of the game.
