e Cowgirls say they rarely even practice the press, but coach Kurt Budke said, "One thing that has amazed me since I’ve come to the Division I level is nobody presses anybody.”

Budke said he knows why — teams are too talented. And Landers said: "I hope they press. If they want to press, bring it. We’ve been very, very good against the press.”

AY, MATE
Arizona State’s Gabby Fage is an old friend of OSU’s Cunningham; they grew up playing together on Australian junior teams. Fage was at the game Saturday night waving an Aussie flag.

"It was nice to see her out there,” said Cunningham. "I saw the Australian flag; I told her not to bring it.”

Georgia has an Australian, too, in Janique Kautsky. But nope, Cunningham doesn’t know her. Not all Australian basketball players know each other.

WHERE ARE THE FANS?
The announced crowd Saturday night was 1,455, but the actual count was about half that.

"It doesn’t bother me,” said Cunningham. "I came from junior college, so we didn’t have that many fans. I’m kind of used to it.”
