If possible, it seemed like Oklahoma State was in foul trouble from the opening tip in Saturday night's 58-49 loss at Texas.

“Man,” said Cowboys guard Keiton Page, “we were.”

Still, while the Cowboys were upset with the total – 29 fouls – they accepted some of the blame, too.

“That's another thing coach (Travis Ford) has been stressing on us,” Page said. “We've got to play good aggressive defense without getting our hands in there. Tonight we got caught sticking our hands in there too much, getting cheap little fouls we didn't need to get at crucial times for us.”

Said Ford: “They said we committed 29 fouls. If we did, we've got to do something about it. We'll see. We'll take a look.”
