*OSU coach Mike Gundy on the OSU defense: “They're going to make some plays because they're very skilled on offense. We would like to get more three-and-outs, but in today's style of offenses there's more yards and there's more points being scored. You just have to stay in there and win some of your own battles and try to keep it to a minimum.”

*Baylor coach Art Briles on the Bears' inability to score on the first drive of the game: “Sickening comes to mind, because you just know how important it is to punch it in, in that situation. It's not like you're going to pitch a shutout game against them, but you certainly better match scores when you have the opportunities, and we didn't.”

*OSU wide receiver Justin Blackmon on the Cowboys' offense: “We feel very confident in our offense in executing plays. But we're not perfect. We know there's things we've got to go work on, even after today.”

*Baylor running back Terrance Ganaway on the turnovers: “Turnovers kill any team when you have enough of them. Definitely, when you play a good team like Oklahoma State, you can't have (them), especially in the red zone. Penalties and turnovers kill drives and can kill a team.”

*OSU offensive coordinator Todd Monken on the offense: “Our line has done a great job all year. Our backs have run hard. Sometimes things just kind of happen, and holes just open up. I'm not diminishing what we did. But sometimes things just work out like that. It works all together. When you have a good quarterback and good skill guys outside and you're able to run the ball, then I think you've got a pretty good combination.”
