Man in motion
→OSU RB Kendall Hunter: The conference’s best running back is expected to play after suffering a minor leg injury two weeks ago in Colorado.

Key Matchup
→Damian Davis vs. the OU secondary not focused on Dez Bryant: Bryant will undoubtedly be doubled up in coverage. OSU will need a second receiver to step up, much like Davis did in Bedlam last year.

Heads up
With ESPN’s GameDay crew on the library lawn, fans should be tuning in — or heading to campus — to see if Lee Corso, below, dons a Pistol Pete head or picks the Sooner wagon for the second week in a row.

The Cowboys should stand a better chance against the Sooners than Texas Tech did, for two reasons: They’re at home, and they can run the ball.

A-ha! At last, I’ve figured out a way to settle this Big 12 tiebreaker thing. Should the Cowboys fall to Oklahoma on Saturday, thus creating the three-way tie — ask Mike Gundy which team is best. Of course, he’ll only know their defenses.

— SI.com’s Stewart Mandel

But in the end, this one likely will play out like the Sooners’ last two trips to Stillwater that finished on an incomplete pass in the end zone and a missed field goal at the end of the game. Look for this one to be just as close.

State has weapons to move the ball, but it won’t be able to keep up in this shootout as OU is out to make a statement here.
