OSU center Grant Garner talked about the offensive line's role in the Cowboys' successful day.

What was the key to the success of the running game in the second half?

“Ultimately, I think they were probably playing the pass. We just got lucky and got five-on-five. The running backs made good cuts and found the lanes and scored.”

What's that like for you as a lineman when you see Joseph Randle or Jeremy Smith get through a hole the line created and get to the end zone?

“I think it's awesome, because we definitely want those guys to get a lot of yards rushing. It always feels a lot better to run the ball than it does to pass, just because I feel like you earn it more as an offensive line. It's tougher to run block than it is to pass protect.”

Brandon Weeden came over to the offensive line on the bench after that last touchdown and high-fived all of you. How does that make you feel?

“I think he appreciates what we do. As long as we keep him clean and move the ball, he's a happy guy. We like him when he's happy.”
