STILLWATER — Facing a double-digit deficit early in the fourth quarter, Missouri’s 60-yard trick play reverse on a punt return gave the Tigers the ball deep in Oklahoma State territory.

The following four plays were a stark contrast from the OSU defense that had been scorched in the first half.

A great open field tackle on Tigers running back Derrick Washington by Andre Sexton prevented a first down. After two incompletions, Patrick Lavine and Richetti Jones stopped Washington on fourth-and-3 to halt a drive that started on OSU’s 17. The series essentially cemented the Cowboys’ 33-17 win.

"I was proud of our team and how they bounced back and stopped them after that reverse,” coach Mike Gundy said.
