Oklahoma State has added a three-game football series with Central Michigan, a deal first reported by The Morning Sun.

Citing sources “close to Central Michigan University,” the schools will first meet in 2015 at CMU's Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant. The Chippewas would play in Stillwater twice in years to be determined.

The series opener will be the first meeting ever between the two programs.

The Cowboys already have four non-conference games scheduled for 2015 – at Air Force and home against Texas-San Antonio and Central Arkansas, along with CMU – meaning one game would need to be moved or canceled.

The Chippewas finished 3-9 overall and 2-6 in the MAC a year ago.
