OSU football notebook: Fiesta Bowl did not sell out
Fiesta Bowl spokesman Andrew Bagnato told The Associated Press that while Oklahoma State and Stanford each sold their allotments of 17,500 tickets to the BCS game, the attendance of 69,927 was still about 3,000 short of a sellout.
Bagnato attributed that to fewer locals buying tickets.
