Oklahoma State already has a commitment from one dual-threat quarterback in Enid’s Clint Chelf, but with some extra spots opening up, the Cowboys might add a second quarterback to the 2009 recruiting class.

One of the top candidates for that spot is Tyrik Rollison of Sulphur Springs, Texas. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Rollison completed 20 of 27 passes for 257 yards and four touchdowns Friday night in a 47-34 victory over Everman in the Texas Class 4A Division II semifinals.

Rollison also rushed 14 times for 79 yards and two TDs.

The main hold-up in Rollison’s recruiting has been his academics. He has yet to record a qualifying test score.

GRADUATION DAY
Five players received their degrees at OSU’s graduation ceremony Saturday at Gallagher-Iba Arena.

Four seniors, offensive lineman David Washington, safety Ricky Price, receiver Todd Nelson and punter Matt Fodge, graduated Friday, along with junior offensive lineman Andrew Lewis, who will begin work on a master’s degree in the spring.
