Cowboys get commitment from Texas defensive end
After visiting Oklahoma State and Tulsa last week, Bushland (Texas) High School defensive end Andrew Hudson committed to OSU this week, several recruiting services reported.

Hudson, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound senior-to-be, chose OSU several schools, including Texas Christian, Tulsa, Arkansas State and Kansas.

Hudson becomes the fifth OSU commitment to the class of 2009. He is ranked as Rivals.com's no. 36 weakside defensive end and Scout.com's no. 114 defensive end.

Hudson told Rivals.com that his final decision came down to OSU and TCU.

"I like the Big 12,” Hudson told the Web site of why he decided on OSU. "It's pretty close to home in five hours, I really like Coach (Glenn) Spencer and I can see myself working hard for him, and they have really nice facilities and just a lot of stuff I wouldn't mind having in a college.

"Oklahoma State was the first school that I ever started getting letters from a year ago. All these other schools kind of came up out of nowhere but Oklahoma State has been sending letters for about a year or year and a half."
