Thurman Thomas to be honored in Stillwater
Former Oklahoma State running back Thurman Thomas is tentatively scheduled to be honored at Boone Pickens Stadium during the Bedlam game Nov. 29 as part of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame's On-Campus Salute for its 2008 inductees.

"The On-Campus Salute is not only a unique tradition that allows our Hall of Famers to be honored in front of their home crowds again,” said NFF chairman Archie Manning. "It is also a great opportunity for fans to see some of the most storied players and coaches in the history of their school's football program.”

Thomas is one of 13 players in the 2008 Hall of Fame class, which also includes two coaches. The class will be officially inducted at the NFF's annual awards dinner Dec. 9 in New York City.

Booker, a 6-foot-3, 315-pound sophomore from Paris, Texas, has enrolled and began practicing Monday with the Demons, according to the school's Web site.

Booker joins NSU offensive line coach Jeremy Offutt, who was a two-time all-Big 12 Conference selection at OSU in 1997-98.
