Captains selected for '08 season
Quarterback Zac Robinson, safety Ricky Price and punter Matt Fodge were named OSU's team captains on Wednesday. Robinson is a junior, and Price and Fodge are both seniors.

•Call it a collaboration: Oklahoma State's offense will look a lot like it did last season, but that doesn't mean it's just former offensive coordinator Larry Fedora's office sans Larry Fedora.

Earlier this week, Mike Gundy talked about how OSU's offense evolved over the last couple of years, with a number of coaches adding their own twists to Fedora's system.

"The attack we wanted four years ago was a no-huddle, fast-paced system to where we could get the ball to skill players in space,” Gundy said. "And then I think coach (Doug) Meacham and his background in the same kind of system and coach (Gunter) Brewer's background in the throwing game and coach (Curtis) Luper's background in the option — I think all that's been tied together.”

•Who goes where: With Gundy calling plays on the field, co-offensive coordinator Gunter Brewer will move upstairs to the press box. He will be joined up top by either Meacham or offensive line coach Joe Wickline and graduate assistants.

Senior safety Ricky Price was selected as a team captain for the 2008 season. Quarterback Zac Robinson and punter Matt Fodge will also serves as captains. By Matt Strasen, the Oklahoman Archive
