Corion Webster's measurables don't jump off the page. His speed doesn't pop off the YouTube screen. His power won't remind you of a young Jerome Bettis.

But Webster's shown three admirable traits during his high school career in Atlanta, Texas: productivity, durability and consistency.

And those three traits are what piqued interest and eventually an offer from Oklahoma State, the school he's expected to sign with on Wednesday.

In the past two seasons, combined, Webster has rushed 424 times for 3,546 yards and 37 touchdowns. Plus, he's shown good hands out of the backfield, a key component for tailbacks in the Cowboys' air raid attack.

“He displays natural catching skills with the elusiveness and run after catch speed shown as a ball carrier,” one ESPN analyst wrote of Webster. “He is a tough customer who runs with the power that can shorten the game in the fourth quarter. Webster's strength, speed and ball catching skills could earn him early playing time at the BCS level of play.”
