OSU football recruiting: Jesse Robinson convinced Hurst, Texas, teammate Vili Leveni to pick Cowboys

At 6-6 and about 290 pounds, Robinson is an explosive lineman for his size with great feet. Leveni also possess an ideal frame at 6-4 and 260 pounds, as well as the athleticism to make him a versatile option at defensive end.

Robinson and Leveni sat on the stage in their high school auditorium Wednesday while family and friends snapped photos. Robinson sported a large orange Cowboy hat, while Leveni was more subtle in an orange tie and black OSU cap.

They both flashed big smiles while throwing up the “Pistols Firing” sign together.

They'll get to do that together for years to come.

“It's going to be good to have somebody there that knows me, that I can count on to have my back,” Robinson said. “But then it's also somebody to push me, that's been here with me for three, four years just grinding out there.

“He knows how to push me to another level.”
