Coach Mike Gundy: “It starts off, you have to be able to lead the team. You've got to get us in the right play. We've got to be structured and organized, and it has to happen at a fast pace. Then you've got to be productive. In some form or fashion, you have to be productive enough for the offense to score points.”

Quarterback Clint Chelf: “It's a lot different, but I wouldn't have it any other way. At some point in time, you've got to take over and be the starter. And I've been waiting for this opportunity. I feel very comfortable. I've been out here before, played in some games, gotten some experience. I feel real comfortable going with the ones.”

Wide receiver Tracy Moore: “I don't think their accuracy or anything's going to be a problem. Once they get the playbook down, they'll be fine. They all have pretty good practices, but somebody will step up over the other one each day. Like (Wednesday), J.W. showed us a lot, and you really don't know yet.”

Center Evan Epstein: “Honestly, I've seen three great competitors. This is not an easy offense. There's so much stuff that those guys have to see. My hat's off to them. They think that I have a cerebral position? I couldn't even imagine that stuff (the quarterbacks have to learn).”
