OSU football: Wichita DE Trace Clark commits to Oklahoma State

From Staff Reports Published: December 15, 2011

Oklahoma State picked up a commitment from Wichita, Kan., defensive end Trace Clark on Thursday.

Clark, at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds, chose OSU over Iowa, Purdue, Kansas, Kansas State, Oregon and Stanford, according to the Wichita Eagle.

According to the paper, OSU coach Mike Gundy was visiting Clark in Wichita when he committed.

“I'm very relieved to know that most of the process is over now,” said Clark, a three-star recruit according to Rivals.com. “I can get back to my school work and playing basketball and I only have a couple of coaches that I need to talk to now in coach Gundy and my position coach.”

Clark is OSU's 16th known commitment for the Class of 2012.
