Marcus Smart takes to Twitter to take on blogger

Marcus Smart wasn’t at OSU’s game in Waco. Not in person.

In spirit?

Seems so, as his Twitter account directed a few messages toward the popular blog Pistols Firing, run by Kyle Porter.

During these tough times for the OSU basketball team — the Cowboys lost their seventh straight Monday night — critiques of the team have been prevalent across social media. Apparently, Smart — or someone acting as Smart — had enough.

The series of tweets:

@pistolsguy yo dude listen no one is forcing u to watch the game or watch us play if your a Osu cowboy act like it


@pistolsguy I’m tired of seeing your negativity towards the team and the coaches


@pistolsguy theses aren’t shots fired or any disrespect just saying


Smart hadn’t tweeted since Jan. 25, when he used the forum to apologize to his teammates following an outburst on the sideline against West Virginia.

Following Smart’s first tweet, @pistolsguy didn’t respond and stopped tweeting during the game.
