Oklahoma State has been picked to win its second Big 12 football title in three years, receiving 15 of a possible 43 first-place votes in the conference's 2013 preseason media poll released Thursday.
Oklahoma, which won a share of its eighth Big 12 title last season, was picked second with eight first-place votes.
TCU, entering its second season in the Big 12, picked up nine first-place votes but came in third behind the Cowboys and Sooners.
Texas (eight first-place votes), Baylor (two first-place votes), Kansas State (one first-place vote), Texas Tech, West Virginia, Iowa State and Kansas round out the preseason poll.
Oklahoma State, which went 8-5 last season, had three of its players on the preseason All-Big 12 team released Wednesday.
Big 12 players and coaches will meet the press Monday and Tuesday in Dallas for the annual Big 12 Media Days.
