A jury chose a five-year prison sentence for Oklahoma State linebacker Chris Collins for a 2004 aggravated sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl, but it recommended that the sentence be served on probation.

Bowie County (Texas) District Judge Leon F. Pesek Jr. will formally sentence Collins on Dec. 10.

Collins' future at OSU is unclear after Cowboy coach Mike Gundy declined comment Wednesday afternoon.
