STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma State Cowboys have held their first practice in shoulder pads.

OSU worked out Sunday morning for about two hours at the Sherman E. Smith Training Facility.

Defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer says the team did well at times, but that there were some missed assignments. Spencer says most of the mistakes were made by younger players rather than the more veteran Cowboys.
