OSU quarterback Brandon Weeden on his three interceptions: “As many times as I threw the ball last year, I didn't throw very many (interceptions). I hate throwing interceptions. It's not fun. But they happen when you throw the ball as many times as we do.”

Louisiana-Lafayette coach Mark Hudspeth on his team's performance: “Whenever it's your first game with your new team, you don't know what to expect, especially when you're going to play the No. 8 team in the nation with two Heisman Trophy candidates. To see them come out and battle and never give in, we've got a resilient group.”

OSU defensive coordinator Bill Young on the Cowboys' defense: “At times, I thought we really played outstanding. We got some four-man pressure and didn't blitz a lot. The linebackers I thought played extremely well. Alex Elkins, a newcomer, he really showed up and made some big plays for us.”

OSU running back Joseph Randle on his performance: “We're just going to run the plays we're told to run. It isn't too hard when you've got players like we've got. Just call the play and we'll run it and try to execute it to the best of our ability.”
