A: Third-down defense
Oklahoma State stopped what was becoming a disturbing trend. In the three previous games, opponents had converted 58.9 percent of third downs. But Colorado converted just three of 15 (20 percent).
F: Fourth-down defense
Despite their strong showing on third down, the Cowboys couldn't stop Colorado on fourth. The Buffaloes converted all four fourth-down tries.
