OSU researcher works on RSV vaccine

STILLWATER — Oklahoma State University researcher Tom Oomens is working to develop a vaccine for human respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV.

RSV is a highly contagious virus that hospitalizes more than 100,000 children a year, said Oomens, a virology professor also looking for new ways to treat RSV.
