Oklahoma State rose to No. 10 in the latest coaches’ top-25 poll, and came in at No. 12 in the Associated Press poll following its 42-6 rout of Kansas on Saturday.

Oklahoma, meanwhile, fell to No. 17 in the coaches’ poll and No. 22 in the AP poll after Thursday’s 41-12 shellacking at Baylor.

The Cowboys return to action Saturday afternoon at Texas in a vitally important game in the Big 12 Conference race. The Longhorns remain unbeaten in Big 12 play, but lost two early-season non-conference games.

Oklahoma hosts Iowa State at 11 a.m. Saturday. Baylor was ranked No. 4 in both polls, making it the highest-ranked Big 12 team.
