STILLWATER — Oklahoma State had three players finish in double-figure scoring Sunday afternoon in its 95-47 women's basketball rout of North Texas before 2,225 fans at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Liz Donohoe had a game-best 27 points and added 10 rebounds for the Cowgirls, who trailed early before taking a 20-point lead into halftime. Brittney Martin had 16 points, nine rebounds and four steals. LaShawn Jones chipped in 15 points and a game-high 13 boards.
Oklahoma State (7-0) dominated in every area except the bench, where the Mean Green had a 24-23 scoring advantage. The Cowgirls out-rebounded North Texas 63-35 and had 28 assists to the Mean Green's nine. OSU shot 48.7 percent from the field compared to North Texas' 28.8 percent.
Candice Adams led North Texas (3-4) with nine points.
OSU has almost two weeks off before it plays South Florida at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in the All-College Classic in Oklahoma City.
