Oklahoma and Oklahoma State are ranked third and fourth, respectively, in the first BCS standings released Sunday night.

LSU is No. 1 in the standings, while Alabama is No. 2. Boise State, Wisconsin, Clemson, Stanford, Arkansas and Oregon round out the rest of the BCS top 10.

The Sooners (6-0, 3-0 Big 12), who beat Kansas 47-17 in Lawrence on Saturday night, are ranked No. 1 in the USA Today/Coaches poll and third in The Associated Press poll.

OSU, which is ranked sixth in both The Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls after Saturday's 38-26 victory at Texas, got a push from the portion of the BCS formula, as four of them have the Cowboys (6-0, 3-0 Big 12) ranked No. 1.

“The recognition is great for our football program,” said OSU head coach Mike Gundy. “But we are only halfway through the season and things can change quickly. We have another tough road opponent this week at Missouri. That game needs to be our focus.”

Other Big 12 teams ranked in the top 25 of the BCS standings include Kansas State at No. 11, Texas A&M at No. 17 and Texas at No. 24.
