OU athletics fares well in latest academic progress ratings
NORMAN — All of Oklahoma's athletic programs scored well on the NCAA's academic progress ratings, which were released Wednesday.
APR PENALTIES
Here is a look at the teams with postseason ineligibility for 2012-13 season (all of these teams also face APR penalties):

Eight OU women's teams — cross country, golf, gymnastics, rowing, soccer, tennis, indoor track and outdoor track — earned the best possible APR score of 1000.
The Sooners' football team scored a 985 for 2010-11 and has a four-year average of 970, which is well above the average score (948) for all Division I football programs.
The football team's 2010-11 score is the highest among OU men's athletic teams.
The NCAA Board of Directors voted last August to ban Division I athletic teams from postseason competition if four-year APRs failed to meet a score of 930. The new policy will be slowly ushered in, though, beginning with this year.
For the 2012-13 postseason, a program can qualify for the postseason with a four-year average of 900 or a 930 score over the most recent two years.
For 2013-14, the required scores increase to a 930 four-year average or a 940 score in the most recent two years.
Beginning with the 2014-15 postseason, programs must meet the four-year score of 930 to qualify for postseason play.
