Notable: The Cavaliers are one of 10 teams to play in each of the past nine NCAA Tournaments.

No. 2 OU

Bid: Big 12 at-large

Notable: Sooners advanced through Charlottesville on the way to the 2010 College World Series.

No. 3 Appalachian State

Record: 39-16

Bid: At-large; Southern Conference regular season champion.

Notable: The Mountaineers have been ranked regularly this season and own a road series win over LSU.

No. 4 Army

Record: 41-13

Bid: Won Patriot League championship series to claim automatic bid.

Notable: The Cadets have been regulars in the NCAA Tournament of late, with all four previous appearances coming since 2000. They are 3-8 in NCAA play.
