Oklahoma's baseball recruiting class was ranked No. 13 by Baseball America, it was announced Thursday.

The Sooners have 23 newcomers on the roster, 13 of those being junior college transfers and the other 10 being freshmen. OU will have 15 players back from last season's a 41-19 team.

OU coach Sunny Golloway has seven players in fall camp who were selected in the 2011 Major League Baseball Draft. Right-handed pitcher Jonathan Gray tops the group; the Chandler High product he was picked in the 10th round by the New York Yankees after helping Eastern Oklahoma Junior College to the national tournament this spring.

*The Sooners and Oklahoma State Cowboys are winding down fall camp with intrasquad scrimmages. The best-of-5 Red-White Series begins Monday. No game times have been announced.

OSU's Orange-Black World Series begins 3 p.m. Tuesday at Reynolds Stadium. The Cowboys will play 3 p.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Thursday. OSU games are open to the public free of admission charge.

UCO EXTENDS STREAK TO 11

The Central Oklahoma women's soccer team extended its win streak to 11 late Wednesday night with a 1-0 overtime decision over Midwestern State in Wichita Falls, Texas. Former Norman High star Summer Grantham scored from 30 yards seven minutes into OT as the No. 22-ranked Bronchos improved to 11-3. UCO has shut out eight opponents during the string.

UCO plays 4 p.m. Saturday against East Central at Tom Thompson Field in Edmond.
