Oklahoma finished its five-game trip to Europe with an 80-70 loss to Evreux on Thursday in France.

Evreux, which plays in Group B of France's National Basketball League, finished on a 17-2 run to hand the Sooners their first loss of the trip.

Oklahoma trailed for much of the game before an 11-1 run in the fourth quarter put it ahead by five points with 6:10 remaining.

But Evreux, which led most of the night, finished strong to end the game.

“A terrific experience for us,” OU coach Lon Kruger said in a release. “A very good team and a very physical game. We really hadn't had a physical game through the first four. So a lot of lessons to learn from this one and guys will benefit greatly.”

Evreux attempted more than twice as many free throws, 28-12.

For the fourth time in the trip's five games, Cameron Clark led the Sooners in scoring. Clark had 15 points and eight rebounds. Clark averaged 16.8 points on the trip.

Ryan Spangler had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, Kruger said the trip was a positive, both on and off the court.
