OU basketball: Sooners open against UCLA in Battle 4 Atlantis tournament

The Sooners have a tough road ahead in the Battle 4 Atlantis basketball tournament in the Bahamas.


OU will tip off the Thanksgiving tourney in Las Vegas against UCLA Nov. 26 at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN2). The Sooners are on the same side of the bracket as Butler and North Carolina.


The winner of OU-UCLA will play the Butler-North Carolina winner on Thanksgiving Day in the tournament semifinals (1 p.m., ESPN).


Each team in the loaded tournament gets a guaranteed three games. The field includes two Final Four teams from last season (Florida, Wisconsin) and a combined 16 national titles. CBSSports.com has the Sooners ranked No. 16 in preseason, and three more of its top 25 teams are included in the tournament.
